Bad news for Dortmund – Dropped more points in the league. Marco Reus sees a red card and will be facing suspension.  Ousmane Dembele, who was one of the brighter spot for them in this fixture might be out injured.

 

Good News – They did not lose with fewer men.

 

Pre-season title favorites Borussia Dortmund dropped more points in the Bundesliga, but managed to fight with fewer men against a Hoffenheim side that has remained undefeated in the 2016/17 Bundesliga season.

Augsburg leaped over Monchengladbach in the league standings with a home victory.  Martin Hinteregger’s second half goal was the only one of the match.

Werder Bremen denied FC Koln a victory that would have placed them amongst the top five teams in the league standings.

RB Leipzig did their part and won at home against Hertha Berlin.

 

Both teams were coming from a defeat in their previous league match, and RB Leipzig made it consecutive for Hertha Berlin with a goal in each half.

A struggling Wolfsburg defeated Eintracht Frankfurt.

Jeffrey Bruma’s goal was enough to give Wolfsburg an important will that keeps them out of the relegation zone for another round.

It was an important away victory for Bayern Munich, as it took them back to the top of the Bundesliga table.

Relegation-threatened Ingolstadt were able to get their third victory in the 2016/17 Bundesliga season through an away fixture against Bayer Leverkusen.

 

We want to be shocked by the result, but Ingolstadt came into this fixture delivered high flying RB Leipzig their first defeat of the season.  Should this trend continues, fans would be hopeful for at least a mid-table finish.
