From their position on the league table, this fixture was more evenly contested than expected.

Borussia Dortmund came out on top against relegation-zoned Ingolstadt. The important three points kept Dortmund in the top three and can hope for a second place finish.

RB Leipzig was slapped with a second straight league defeat.

Werder Bremen defeated RB Leipzig and probably most likely shortened the time it would take Bayern Munich to retain the league title.

Bayer Leverkusen has now gone 6 matches in all competitions without a victory.

Sandro Wagner scored the only goal of the match to give to give Hoffenheim a victory at home.

Playing against a relegation-threatened Hamburger SV did not stop Eintracht Frankfurt from a sixth consecutive league game without a victory.

The form sheet shows Hamburger SV is on the rise while Eintracht Frankfurt seems to be on the decline.
