German Bundesliga returns – the Bundesliga kicks off again with Schalke and Monchengladbach fighting four a UCL finish.

The Bundesliga is back

The winter break for the German Bundesliga comes to an end.
The teams return to play their 18th match of the 2019/20 season.
And as things stands, RB Leipzig is top of the table with a two point lead.
Bayern Munich is third in the league at the halfway point of the season.

Borussia Monchengladbach is fighting the big boys here. They were top of the table for 8 of the 17 weeks of the season.

It is looking like Paderborn will be going back down.
Paderborn is at the bottom of the league table with 3 wins from 17 matches, and 11 defeats. (12 points)

FC Koln is barely hanging on to a place in the top flight.
Koln – 15th in the league. 5-2-10 and 17 points

Union Berlin is performing the best amongst the recently-promoted teams.
Union Berlin is 11th in the standings with 6 wins and 2 draws from their opening 17 matches.

The biggest point gap between any of the clubs in the standings is 3.
Bayern Munich (3rd) and Borussia Dortmund (4th)
