::: Borussia Dortmund bounced back from a 2-1 defeat to Union Berlin in their last league game before the international break, with a win by the same scoreline against St. Pauli. Serhou Guirassy’s goal in the 83rd minute was needed by Dortmund to restore their lead after St. Pauli’s Eric Smith leveled the score with a thunderbolt in the 77th minute, canceling Ramy Bensebaini’s match-opening goal for Dortmund in the 43rd minute.

::: Bayer Leverkusen could have taken an early lead had Victor Boniface converted a penalty in the 9th minute. Instead, it was Omar Marmoush who scored from the spot in the 16th minute, giving Eintracht Frankfurt the advantage. However, Leverkusen responded quickly, with Robert Andrich leveling the score in the 25th minute. Boniface made amends for his earlier miss by netting the winning goal in the 72nd minute, securing three points for the defending champions.
