It might be against the run of play but Metz was able to pick up the maximum points against Marseille.

Metz remains relegation threatened, but if they can pull a few of these results in their upcoming league fixtures, they should see another year in Ligue 1.

After picking up points against Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco made themselves title favorites by defeating OGC Nice.

Monaco sits three points clear at the top of the league table.

Both teams scored a goal in the second half to finish a point better than they came into the match.

Bordeaux held on to the two point advantage over Rennes on the league table.

The match ended with a player on both teams being sent off on a red card, but Nancy finished with an away victory over Nantes.

It was a third consecutive defeat in all competitions for Lyon after they fell away to Saint-Etienne.

The victory allowed Saint-Etienne move to a point away from Lyon in the league standings. Lyon sits in fourth and Saint-Etienne will be hoping to challenge them for the last European spot in Ligue 1.
