A very early goal gave Rennes an important home victory over Toulouse.

A victory for Toulouse would have taken them above Rennes in the league standings, something Rennes couldn’t afford to let happen in front of their home crowd.

It was a consecutive draw for Montpellier after they failed to grab a home win over newly promoted Nancy.

Nantes                                      0-0                  Lille

After three league defeats in a row, a goalless draw against Nantes was an improvement for Lille.

An early penalty miss by Famara Diedhiou came back to bite Angers as they lost a home match in which they had a lead at the half.

Nice                                          1-1                     SC Bastia

Alassane Plea 11’                                            Enzo Crivelli 60’

Bastia’s fourth draw of the season denied OGC Nice an opportunity to open a comfortable gap at the top of the Ligue 1 table.

The result keeps Monaco just a point away from OGC Nice and allows a victory for Paris Saint-Germain to close the gap to a point as well.
