Leeds United had a goal ruled out by VAR, but went on to leave Fulham with the win. Leeds United won their first in four league games by beating Fulham.

Leandro Trossard sent Brighton to the break with a 1-0 lead after scoring the opening goal of the game in the final minute of the first half additional minutes. It didn’t take too long after the restart for Danny Welbeck to double Brighton’s lead. Before the 70th minute, Neal Maupay added the third goal to get Brighton a 3-0 win over Newcastle United. Brighton created a 4-point gap between the two teams while pushing Newcastle closer to the relegation battle.
