FBMD – Angola vs Mali

10 January 2010 – Angola vs Mali.

The opening match of the 2010 African Cup of Nations was the perfect match example of what the game of football is about.

At half time, Angola had scored two goals and conceded none. Their odds of winning went up higher when they were able to double their lead in the 74th minute.  4-0 lead with just a quarter left of regulation time.

Mali did the improbable and finished the match with a point by scoring four late goals (two goals in regulation time and another two in additional time) to tie things up at 4-4 when the final whistle went off.
