English Premier League: Manchester City is a win away from becoming Champions.

Everton went from a 5-1 victory against Brighton to a 3-0 defeat against Manchester City. Meanwhile, Brighton turned their fortunes around, going from a 5-1 defeat to a 3-0 win against Arsenal. This means while Manchester City came out of this round with a 3-0 win on the road, Arsenal fell to a 3-0 home defeat.

Manchester City now holds a four-point lead in the title race with a game in hand.
Ilkay Gundogan scored two goals and assisted in the third to secure a 3-0 win for Manchester City at Goodison Park against Everton. Everton was seeking to extend their positive run of results after a 5-1 win against Brighton.

Newcastle United dropped more points as they settled for a 2-2 draw against Leeds United. Manchester United earned three points in London against West Ham. Manchester United and Newcastle are now level on points but separated by goal difference.
Manchester United won their first league game in three matches after losing their last two games 1-0. They beat Wolves 2-0, taking advantage of the points dropped by Newcastle United at Leeds.

Relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest earned a valuable point from a 2-2 draw against a Chelsea side that was more relaxed after securing their league safety.

Aston Villa closed the gap in points between themselves and Tottenham with a 2-1 win. Aston Villa regained their winning form after suffering two consecutive league losses, following a run of 10 unbeaten matches that included 8 wins.

Nottingham Forest couldn’t afford to lose. Both Raheem Sterling and Taiwo Awoniyi scored two goals for their respective clubs, resulting in a 2-2 draw between Chelsea and Nottingham Forest.

Brentford bounced back from their defeat against Liverpool with a 2-0 victory over West Ham United. West Ham came into the match with a win against Manchester United and a midweek Conference League win against AZ Alkmaar.

Leicester City’s struggles continued as they suffered a 3-0 defeat at home against Liverpool. Curtis Jones scored two goals in the first half, and Trent Alexander-Arnold scored a brilliantly executed free-kick in the second half. Liverpool is now on a seven-game winning streak after this victory.
