Callum Wilson scored all the goals of the match for Newcastle to leave Goodison Park with a 2-0 win against Everton. It was Newcastle’s first win of the year (in all competitions), and their first win since December 12, 2020.
A 1-0 win against Wolves allowed Crystal Palace to end their run of defeat in the league at two games, while picking up their second league win in 10 matches. For Wolves, the result marked the eighth straight games without a win.
Manchester City needed a win; and that is what they got against Sheffield United.
In a game involving the team on top of the league table and the team at the bare bottom, not many would’ve imagined a narrow 1-0 win to the top side.

The goals came from defenders, as Thomas Tuchel got win number 1 as Chelsea’s manager from a 2-0 victory against Burnley.
Second place in the league was available for Leicester City if they had managed a win at home.
Patrick Bamford scored and assisted two goals for Leeds United to win at Leicester. Stuart Dallas scored in the 15th-minute for Leeds to quickly get back on level terms after Harvey Barnes gave Leicester City a lead in the 13th minute. Two more goals in the final 20 minutes of the regulation time ensure that Leeds United will make it successive away games in the league with wins.
A back to back 3-1 wins in London for Liverpool. Mohamed Salah added two goals to his season tally to help Liverpool grab three points from a win against West Ham.
Leandro Trossard scored the only goal of the match to give Bighton their first home win of the season from a ‘1-0’ victory over Tottenham.
