AC Milan vs Roma (Italian Serie A)

Aston Villa vs Leeds (English Premier League)

With a match in hand and being the only team in the English Premier League with a perfect record since the start of the 2020/21 season, Aston Villa are hoping to stay on their current course and pick up a win against newly-promoted Leeds United.

Will Leeds United be extending their winless run to three matches, or is Aston Villa going to make it 5 wins from 5?

West Ham vs Manchester City (English Premier League)

With a game in hand, Manchester City has accumulated equal points as West Ham.

The results and performance from Manchester City hasn’t been what many would have expected, while West Ham have done more than expected with the fixtures they’ve had.

Will West Ham survive another big test?

Manchester City are in the bottom half of the league standings, and will want a win here to make up for the dropped points to join the early title race.

Manchester United vs Chelsea (English Premier League)

These two teams are in a rebuild but aren’t allowed by the football world to lower their expectations.
Manchester United and Chelsea are both expected to finish in the top four and win a silverware.
Recent collection of new attacking talent will make Chelsea the favorites ahead of this fixture, but recent results points to Manchester United.

Dortmund vs Schalke (German Bundesliga)

Revierderby.
If they don’t come out of the Revierderby with a win, Schalke will go 21 consecutive league matches without one.

The last Revierderby win for Schalke was an away win. A 4-2 win in April 2019, but their last visit to the Signal Iduna Park was a 4-0 thrashing.

Anything can happen in a derby; including ending a lengthy winless run.
Dortmund on the other hand have ambitions of being part of the title race. A win will help them keep up the pace with RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid (Spanish La Liga)

A consecutive league defeat is on the line for Barcelona and Real Madrid. El Clasico. They’ve both have game(s) in hand, they’ve both dropped 4 points in the opening rounds of the 2020/21 La Liga season, and now Barcelona and Real Madrid are hoping to use the El Clasico to bounce back from league defeat in the previous round.

Arsenal vs Leicester City (English Premier League)

Arsenal will be hunting for a win to bounce back from their defeat against Manchester City in the last round. Leicester will be looking to get back to where they pick up points.

Arsenal have already knocked them out of the EFL Cup; and they could be handing Leicester City their third consecutive league defeat.

Cadiz vs Villarreal (Spanish La Liga)

Cadiz gets another try to win their first home game of the season when Villarreal comes to visit.

It won’t be an easy task for newly-promoted Cadiz but they’ve already proven they can slay giants after handing Real Madrid a home defeat in the last round.

Nice vs Lille (French Ligue 1)

To guarantee that the point gap at the top of the French Ligue 1 stays for another round, Lille will need a win against a Nice side that is searching for win number three in a row.

Nice will reduce the gap between the two teams to a single point with a win.

Paris St. Germain will have the opportunity to take advantage of a Nice win by climbing to the top of the league table with a win of their own.

Lyon vs Monaco (French Ligue 1)

The goal for Lyon and Monaco is to qualify for continental football at the end of the season; preferably the UEFA Champions League.

Lyon put an end to a run of 5 league matches without a win in the league by beating Strasbourg in the last round.
To kick off a winning run, Lyon will need a home win against Monaco.

AC Milan vs Roma (Italian Serie A)

AC Milan’s perfect start to the Serie A season will be put to the test at home against Roma.
