Atlético Madrid, Bayern Munich, Empoli, Feyenoord, Juventus, Lens, Paris Saint-Germain, and RB Leipzig were all looking to extend their unbeaten start in their domestic leagues.

Feyenoord and RB Leipzig secured victories to extend their unbeaten runs.
Atlético Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Lens, and Paris Saint-Germain extended their unbeaten starts with draws in their respective leagues.
Empoli’s run came to an end with a defeat to Lazio in Serie A.

Farense got their first league win of the season in the Primeira Liga, but Monza remains without a league in Serie A.

🇪🇸 Álex Berenguer’s missed penalty in the 28th minute proved costly for Athletic Club when Christian Stuani converted a penalty in the 9th minute of added time (90+9’) to give Girona a 2-1 win. Stuani entered the game about six minutes before scoring the decisive penalty. This result marked Girona’s first win in their last seven matches, five of which were league games.
🇪🇸 Robert Lewandowski scored all three goals within the first 32 minutes of the match, leading Barcelona to a 3-0 away win over Alavés. This result was exactly what Barcelona needed to bounce back from their 4-2 defeat to Osasuna in the previous league fixture.
🇪🇸 Dodi Lukebakio scored the only goal of the match from the penalty spot in the 50th minute, securing Sevilla’s victory in the Seville derby against Real Betis. The result brought Sevilla level on points with Real Betis in the standings.
🇪🇸 Julián Álvarez scored in the first minute to give Atlético Madrid an early lead, but it was only enough for a draw, as Luka Sučić equalized for Real Sociedad in the 84th minute. Atlético Madrid remains unbeaten but now has more draws than wins in the league following the 1-1 result against Real Sociedad.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 A 10-man Nottingham Forest held on for a draw at Stamford Bridge against a Chelsea side that has been in good form this season.
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Tottenham went from a 3-0 away win against Manchester United to a 3-2 away defeat to Brighton, despite being two goals up in the first half. Tottenham squandered a 2-goal lead, conceding three goals in the opening 15 minutes of the second half to lose away at Brighton.

🇮🇹 Razvan Marin scored from the penalty spot in the 88th minute to bring Cagliari level and hand Juventus their first conceded goal in the league this season. Marin’s goal canceled out Dusan Vlahovic’s earlier penalty, resulting in a 1-1 draw between Juventus and Cagliari.
🇮🇹 Parma played with 10 men from the 52nd minute after Woyo Coulibaly received a red card, but Bologna couldn’t capitalize on the advantage to secure a home win. The match ended in a goalless draw.
🇮🇹 Lazio came from behind to hand Empoli their first league defeat of the season with a 2-1 victory. Empoli, along with Juventus, had been one of the only unbeaten teams left in Serie A. Now, only Juventus remains unbeaten.
🇮🇹 Monza is still without a league win this season but managed to avoid defeat by coming from behind to hold Roma to a 1-1 draw. The result denied Roma their first consecutive win of the season.
🇮🇹 Three penalties were missed on the night, with AC Milan failing to convert two, ultimately falling to a 3-2 defeat against Fiorentina. Before Yacine Adli scored the game’s first goal in the 35th minute to give Fiorentina the lead, Moise Kean missed a penalty in the 22nd minute, which could have opened the scoring for Fiorentina. Christian Pulisic equalized for AC Milan in the 60th minute, but before that, both Theo Hernandez and Tammy Abraham had missed penalties for Milan. Albert Gudmundsson scored the decisive goal for Fiorentina in the 73rd minute. Theo Hernandez was sent off in the 6th minute of added time.

🇩🇪 Loïs Openda’s goal in the 59th minute proved enough for RB Leipzig to secure all three points away against Heidenheim, preserving Leipzig’s unbeaten start to the Bundesliga season.
🇩🇪 Bayern Munich remains unbeaten, but Eintracht Frankfurt became the second club to take points off Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, after Bayer Leverkusen did so in the previous round with a 1-1 draw. Omar Marmoush scored twice, including an equalizing goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time, to earn Eintracht Frankfurt a point at home against Bayern Munich. The first half ended in a 2-2 draw, with both teams surrendering a lead at different points. Michael Olise’s goal in the 53rd minute seemed set to be the match-winner for Bayern Munich, helping them recover from their draw with Leverkusen, until Omar Marmoush pulled Eintracht Frankfurt level in the 90+4 minute.
🇩🇪 Ermedin Demirović scored a dramatic equalizer for Stuttgart in the 90+10 minute, helping them avoid a home defeat to Hoffenheim.

🇫🇷 Lyon secured back-to-back league wins as part of a run of four consecutive victories (two in the Europa League), beating Nantes 2-0 to move above them in the Ligue 1 standings.
🇫🇷 Le Havre suffered their fourth consecutive league defeat, losing 2-0 away to Brest. The result moved Brest three points clear of Le Havre in the Ligue 1 standings. Both teams had a player sent off, but none of the goals were scored when either side was at a numerical disadvantage.
🇫🇷 Montpellier endured back-to-back defeats after securing their only league win of the season against Auxerre, making it five losses in seven matches. Arnaud Nordin scored once in each half for Montpellier, but it wasn’t enough, as Reims netted two goals in both halves to win 4-2.
🇫🇷 Strasbourg and Lens shared the points in a 2-2 draw, keeping Lens unbeaten but increasing their tally of drawn matches to five out of seven games played.
🇫🇷 Paris St. Germain dropped points in Nice to lose the top spot of the Ligue 1 standing after coming from a goal down to get a 1-1 draw.

🇳🇱 Feyenoord, with a game in hand, remained unbeaten in the Eredivisie with a 2-1 win over Twente.
🇳🇱 Ajax, with two league games in hand, secured a 3-1 home victory over Groningen.
🇳🇱 AZ Alkmaar suffered their third consecutive defeat, including two in the Eredivisie, after a 1-0 away loss to Fortuna Sittard. This marks back-to-back league defeats for AZ Alkmaar, who had gone unbeaten in their first five matches, including a 9-1 win over Heerenveen during that run.

🇵🇹 Farense, previously the only team in the Primeira Liga without a win, ended that streak when Raul Silva scored the game’s only goal in the fifth minute of added time (90+5’), securing a home victory against Estoril.
🇵🇹 Porto, chasing the top spot in the Primeira Liga, sealed a 2-1 win over Braga.
