THE FIRST HALF OF THE SECOND LEG OF THE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE (ROUND OF 16) SAW ANOTHER HUMILIATING EXIT FOR PARIS ST. GERMAIN.

The group winners were away from home in the first leg. Now they have the backing of their supporters on their home grounds.

It finished goalless at the Etihad between Manchester City and Sporting CP.
Manchester City’s comfortable victory in Lisbon was more than enough.

Inter Milan found the win at Anfield but it wasn’t by the margin to force an extra time with Liverpool.

Bayern Munich left no doubts in the second leg by scoring 7 goals; with three goals coming from Robert Lewandowski. Kingsley Coman’s 90th-minute equalizing that goal allowed Bayern Munich to escape defeat at Salzburg.

Karim Benzema scored a three in 20 minutes to take the tie away from Paris St. Germain, as Real Madrid got three goals to recover from a goal down in the first leg and a goal down in the second leg to get to the quarter-finals at Paris St. Germain’s expense.
