Highlighted fixtures in the opening round.

Dynamo Kyiv vs Juventus
Dynamo Kyiv opens their CL against Juventus.

Barcelona vs Ferencvaros
Last time Ferencvaros made it to the CL group stage was in the 1995/96 season. They kick off this CL season at Camp Nou against a Barcelona side that has a lot to prove in this competition.

Chelsea vs Sevilla
The Europa League defending champions; Sevilla will start their CL tournament at Stamford Bridge. Sevilla goes to Chelsea to kick off their competition. The two teams are the favorites to make it out of Group E.

Lazio vs Dortmund
Lazio are back to the Champions League for the first time since the 2007/08 season. Lazio will begin their challenge in Group F at home against Dortmund.

Paris St. Germain vs Manchester United
Manchester United goes back to Paris. The last time Manchester United was in Paris, they shocked Paris St. Germain by handing them an elimination from the competition through a 3-1 win.
The stakes are different this time around; there is the option to share points and no one is facing elimination.
Paris St. Germain will look to this as an opportunity to make up for the defeat in 2019. And with RB Leipzig lurking in the group with them, both teams will like to have a winning start in Group H.

Will PSG make up for their defeat, or can Manchester United double their victories in Paris?

RB leipzig vs Istanbul Basaksehir
With this being Istanbul Basaksehir’s group stage debut, a poor start to their domestic season, and venue of the match; RB Leipzig will be tipped as the favorite to pick up three points.
A win here will be needed for both teams. The competition in Group H does not get any easier.

Rennes vs Krasnodar
Both teams will be making their debut appearance in the Champions League group stage. It will be nice for them to get points from this game. The competition doesn’t get easier with Chelsea and Sevilla being the other teams in Group E.

Real Madrid vs Shakhtar Donetsk
The 13x Champions welcome Shakhtar Donetsk for their opening game in Group B.

RB Salzburg vs Lokomotiv Moscow
In a group with Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, RB Salzburg and Lokomotiv Moscow must get the points in games like this.

Ajax vs Liverpool
Two teams that will be expected to attack; Ajax vs Liverpool.

Bayern Munich vs Atletico Madrid
Bayern Munich play host to Atletico Madrid. The defending champions will be tested at home by a team with an attacking threat and has the ability to be stubborn and difficult to beat. The two teams are the favorites to make it out of Group A.

Manchester City vs Porto
Manchester City’s chase for European glory keeps going. They start this tournament at home against Porto.

Midtjylland vs Atalanta
Atalanta had their Champions League debut last season and performed well above expectations. They kick-off this season against a team that is also making it to the Champions League group stage for the first time (Midtjylland). With Ajax and Liverpool in Group D with them, points will be needed in this fixture.

Olympiacos vs Marseille
Marseille are back in the Champions League for the first time since the 2013/14 season. They start their season away against Olympiacos.
