Going down a goal early in the match couldn’t stop Bayern Munich from keeping their 100% start to the season.

The quality on Bayern Munich made the difference in this match, as Ingolstadt played their hearts out to get some positive results from this match.

 

Ingolstadt remains winless after three matches.

Borussia made amends for last week’s slip against newly promoted RB Leipzig when Darmstadt came to visit.

It was total domination in all areas of the pitch. 5 goals in the second half showed the gulf in class between the two teams.

Hamburg remains winless after a 4-0 loss at home to the newly promoted RB Leipzig.

RB Leipzig scored four second-half goals to grab an away win at Hamburg.  A penalty started the goal scoring for RB Leipzig after Timo Werner appeared to have been tripped in the penalty box by Hamburger SV’s goalkeeper Rene Adler. Emil Forsberg made no mistake with the resulting penalty and gave RB Leipzig the lead in the 66th minute. Timo Werner tripled the lead about 10 minutes later before Davie Selke hammered the nail in the coffin with a strike in additional time.

 

RB Leipzig remains undefeated.

Both teams remain undefeated at the start of the 2016/17 Bundesliga season after a goalless draw.

Eintracht Frankfurt beat Bayer Leverkusen to keep a 100% record at home.

Javier Hernandez wasted an opportunity to salvage a point when he missed a late penalty in the 88th minute.  Hernandez had done his bit in the 60th minute when he scored to equalize Alexander Meier’s goal for Frankfurt.  

 

Marco Fabian 79th minute goal ended up being the winning goal for Frankfurt. It s their second win of the season.

The first win of the season for Mainz 05 was a 3-1 defeat of Augsburg. Jhon Cordoba’s early goal for Mainz 05 had Augsburg trailing for over 65 minutes. 607520522

Augsburg got back on level terms, but that lasted just about a minute.

It has been a very poor start to the 2016/17 season for Schalke 04 as they lost their third consecutive match of the season. Three losses out of three matches.

Hertha Berlin scored two second half goals to pile pressure on a team that was expected to do better than the fifth place finish they had in the previous season.  

On the other hand, it was the third consecutive victory for Hertha Berlin. Three wins out of three matches.
