Valrio Verre’s 83rd-minute goal allowed Sampdoria to avoid dropping points in the third straight game. Sampdoria got their first win of the season in a 2-1 away win against Fiorentina. The result meant a back-to-back defeat by a single goal for Fiorentina. They won their first match by a single goal and have lost the other games by a single goal.

Francesco Caputo scored two goals in Sassuolo’s 4-1 win over Crotone; causing newly-promoted Crotone to kick their season off with all defeats.

A spike in cases of Covid-19 forced the suspension of the match between Genoa and Torino.

Pedro scored his first league goal for Roma and it was also the game winning goal in a 1-0 away win against Udinese. First win of the season for Roma; and a consecutive third defeat of the season for Udinese.

Atalanta’s attack. 14 goals in the opening three league matches. Five different scorers were on the sheet for Atalanta in their 5-2 win against Cagliari.

Gianluca Lapadula’s goal gave Benevento a win against Bologna. Benevento returns to a win while Bologna returns to a defeat.

Ciro Immobile see’s red but Lazio keeps a point at home against Inter Milan. Lazio avoided consecutive league defeat by coming from a goal down to force a draw. It was the first set of points dropped by Inter Milan.

A goal in the first minute was enough for Parma to get their first victory of the season. The ‘1-0’ result also ended Hellas Verona’s winning streak.

Rafael Lezo scored a brace as AC Milan made it 3 wins out of three with 3 goals against newly-promoted Spezia.

Juventus vs Napoli did not happen.
