Sevilla blew a 2-goal lead in the dying minutes of the game to settle for a point at home against Celta Vigo. Despite playing with a numerical disadvantage from the 19th minute, Sevilla found themselves 2-0 up in the 81st minute when Marcos Acuna added to Youssef En-Nesyri’s 43rd-minute game-opening goal. It looked like consecutive wins for Sevilla until Miguel Rodriguez halved the lead in the 89th minute after coming to the game about 12 minutes prior, and Goncalo Paciencia scored the equalizing goal in the 3rd minute of added time.
Second-half substitutes Goncalo Paciencia and Miguel Rodriguez scored a late goal to get Celta Vigo a point in Seville. Celta Vigo is unbeaten in their last 7 matches after two successive 2-2 draws.

Abde Essalzouli scored both goals to get Osasuna from a losing position to a 2-1 win at home over Elche. That is three defeats in a row Elche, as Osasuna followed up their Copa del Rey success with their first league win in five matches.

The William brothers (Inaki and Nico) were on the score sheet for Athletic Club to pick up three points in a 2-1 win over Espanyol.
The points were shared in a 6-goal thriller between Valladolid and Mallorca.
Atletico Madrid go 12 league games unbeaten (9 wins) and extended their winning streak to 5 matches with a 2-1 away win against Rayo Vallecano.

Real Madrid dropped more points after a 3-2 home defeat against Villarreal. Samuel Chukwueze contributed two goals in Villarreal’s win.
After knocking out Barcelona in the Copa del Rey semifinal (4-0) at Camp Nou, Real Madrid hosted Villarreal for the points to try and keep tabs on Barcelona in the league title race. It was already highly improbable that Real Madrid could stop Barcelona from winning the league title with the number of games left of the season. Real Madrid increased that improbability after a 3-2 defeat.
