It’s a flying start to the season for reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain, as they secured another win and claimed the top spot in the league standings. Marseille dropped from the top of the table after drawing with Reims in the final fixture of the round. Lille, Lens, and Monaco join PSG as the four teams with a 100% winning start to the Ligue 1 season. Conversely, four teams remain without a win: Angers, Brest, Lyon, and Saint-Etienne.

Paris Saint-Germain sent a clear message to the rest of Ligue 1 with a commanding 6-0 victory in their first home game of the season. Building on their 4-1 triumph at Le Havre in the opening round. PSG dominated from start to finish. Five different players found the back of the net, with Bradley Barcola leading the charge by scoring twice.

Lyon ( 0 ) – ( 2 ) Monaco
Monaco doubled their league wins, doubling Lyon’s losses. Lamine Camara scored to double Monaco’s lead in the 80th minute before picking up two yellow cards in the final added minutes.

Lille ( 2 ) – ( 0 ) Angers
A goal in each half allowed Lille to make it two wins from two with a home victory over Angers.

Saint-Étienne ( 0 ) – ( 2 ) Le Havre
Both Saint-Étienne and Le Havre were coming off a defeat. Le Havre recovered with a win at Saint-Étienne’s expense.

Lens ( 2 ) – ( 0 ) Brest
Lens made it two wins from two with a 2-0 victory over Brest, handing Brest their second defeat in as many games.

Nantes ( 2 ) – ( 0 ) Auxerre
Auxerre followed their win against Nice with a defeat at Nantes, while Nantes secured back-to-back wins.

Nice ( 1 ) – ( 1 ) Toulouse
Toulouse and Nice remain without a win, sharing the points in a 1-1 draw.

Strasbourg ( 3 ) – ( 1 ) Rennes
Rennes followed up a win against Lyon with a defeat, while Strasbourg followed a draw with Montpellier with a win.

Marseille ( 2 ) – ( 2 ) Reims
Mason Greenwood was on the scoresheet again, netting the equalizing goal for Marseille to avoid giving up a lead and suffering a defeat in their first home game of the season. Greenwood’s 71st-minute goal earned Marseille a 2-2 draw against Reims.
