Juventus and Napoli(virtually) have picked up 2/4 Champions League tickets for the 2019/20 season, while Inter Milan gets a little comfortable with their lead to pick up one of the final two tickets.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 600 club career goal to get Juventus on level terms at the San Siro. With the league title sealed, Juventus is just on the hunt for records and pride. Inter Milan looks secure in their position to return to the Champions League with the outcome.

Napoli did the expected against relegation-threatened Frosinone by taking the maximum points. Napoli is a point away from having UCL secured.

Relegated Chievo Verona went two matches without defeat after coming from behind to get a draw against Parma

Fabio Quagliarella added another goal to his tally but his Sampdoria side suffered their 4th defeat in 5 league matches after a home defeat against Lazio.

AC Milan’s Champions League dreams took a major blow after defeat to Torino.

Atalanta moved into fourth place after beating Udinese through two goals in the final 10 minutes of regulated time. After getting into the Coppa Italia finale, Atalanta now has a shot of getting Champions League football for the coming season. Udinese is four points out of the relegation zone with 12 points left in the league for each team.

Sassuolo picked up a road win in Florence to move above Fiorentina in the league standings.

Congratulations to FC Barcelona on another title win.

Atletico Madrid did Barcelona no favors and got a win to help their chances of finishing second in the league.

Lionel Messi comes off the bench and scored the winning goal for Barcelona to win the league title in front of their home supporters.

Despite being beaten, Getafe holds on to the fourth place. A ‘2-1’ defeat against Real Sociedad didn’t cost Getafe their Champions League ambitions because of Sevilla’s shocking defeat at Girona. Both Getafe and Sevilla were helped by Eibar win against Valencia, while Valencia benefited from Athletic Club’s failure to get home win against Alaves. Everyone had their luck. Girona’s win against Sevilla comes in handy in their battle to avoid relegation.

Celta Vigo picked up another point from a goalless draw with Leganes to take advantage of Levante’s defeat at the Camp Nou to Barcelona.

Bottom table Huesca came from behind to pick up a point against Villarreal.

Real Madrid is beaten away by relegation zoned Rayo Vallecano. It was an important result for Rayo’s bid to survive another season in the top flight.

A late injury-time goal from Zoubar Feddal saved Real Betis from suffering a defeat at home to Espanyol. One league win in the last 8 matches for Real Betis, and it could have been a 4th straight defeat.

Lionel Messi is the top scorer with 34 goals (13 more than any other player)
