Arshavin to the fourth power.

Anfield, Liverpool. April 21, 2009

It was a season that Liverpool looked like true contenders to win the Premier League.  Liverpool ended up 4 points behind the eventual champions Manchester United. And this match can be calculated as one of the reasons why they couldn’t successfully secure the Premier League for the first time in their history.

The man of the match/night was Arsenal’s Russian assassin, Andrey Arshavin. He was responsible for half of the goals that was scored in this eight-goal thriller. He scored Arsenal’s half of a match that ended a 4-4 draw.
