Argentina knocks out Venezuela at the quarter-finals of the Copa America Centenario.

Two goal in the first half and another two goals in the second half was what Argentina gave Venezuela as a send-off.

Argentina and the USA will meet in the Copa America Centenario semifinal.

At two goals up at half time, and with their record in the competition so far, being ranked number 1 in the world and having the best player in the world on their side, it was highly improbable that Argentina was going to blow such advantage.

Venezuela weapon of choice was aggression and relying on counter attacks. Argentina had the game under control and was comfortable enough to have their build-up play.

Despite a missed penalty for Venezuela and Salomon Randon pulling one back for Venezuela, Argentina had too many attacking option for Venezuela to protect a lead if they had gotten one.
