Metz used a 2-0 home win to move a point away from Lens in the league standings. A back-to-back win for Metz after 5 straight games without.

Marseille dropped more points. The bets Marseille could do after their defeat at Rennes was a 1-1 draw at home with Reims.

After dropping points (unexpectedly) in a 2-2 draw with Brest, Lyon quickly got back to their winning ways with a 4-1 win away at Nice.

An early goal from Kevin Volland ended Monaco’s losing streak at 3 games. Monaco picked up a narrow 1-0 win against bottom table Dijon.

Charles Traore scored a late equalizer in the final minute of added time for Nantes to escape a home defeat against Angers.

A 2-2 draw at home with Nimes brought Saint-Etienne back to their winless run. Saint-Etienne returned to their winless form after ending a streak of 11 straight matches without a win in the last round.

Bordeaux bounced back from consecutive ‘2-1’ defeats with a 2-0 win at Strasbourg. It was Strasbourg’s first defeat in 5 matches.

A 3-0 win against Lorient was Rennes third win in a row.

The final match of the round (the blockbuster) finished in a goalless draw after Lille fought off Paris St. Germain to keep hold of the top spot. The real winner was Lyon.
