And the man of the weekend goes to …

Picking the outright brightest star is never easy, and sometimes blinding.
The shortlist for #SOTW included…
Anthony Modeste (FC Koln) – for scoring three goals against Hertha Berlin and closing the gap between FC Koln and the top five teams in the German Bundesliga league table.
Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City) – making important saves against West Ham United for Leicester City to march on to a fourth consecutive victory in all competitions and the third straight Premier League victory.
Nikola Kalinic (Fiorentina) – scoring another late winner for Fiorentina to leave their Serie A fixture against  Crotone with the maximum points
Antoine Griezmann (Atlético Madrid) – his stunning freekick goal against Sevilla was the winning goal that got Atletico Madrid closer to finishing the season in a position that will give the team a direct qualification for the Spanish La Liga to the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League.
But this week’s #SOTW was earned by …

Kylian Mbappe (Monaco)

For contributing two goals for Monaco to get an away victory over Caen. It was another victory that keeps Monaco on course to break Paris Saint-Germain title winning streak.
