🇪🇸 Sevilla, riding high after their first La Liga win of the season, faced an Alaves side eager to bounce back from a recent defeat to Espanyol that ended their two-game winning streak. In a tightly contested affair, it was Alaves who found their rhythm again, edging Sevilla 2-1 to get back on track and secure a valuable victory at the Andalusians’ expense.

🇪🇸 Las Palmas remained without a league win as Aimar Oroz scored the only goal of the second half in the 60th minute, handing Osasuna a 2-1 victory at home. This result allowed Osasuna to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Rayo Vallecano in the previous round.

🇪🇸 It’s back-to-back league defeats for Girona, following a 4-1 loss in the Catalan derby against Barcelona with a 2-0 defeat against Valencia. The result marked Valencia’s first league win of the season.

🇪🇸 Espanyol had secured back-to-back league wins after starting the season without a victory in their first three matches, and it looked they were getting something from Madrid when they went a goal up in the 54th minute. After a goalless first half, five goals were scored in the second half as Real Madrid came from behind to defeat Espanyol 4-1.

🇪🇸 Despite remaining winless in the league, Getafe managed to avoid another defeat in what has been a challenging season thus far. Borja Mayoral rescued Getafe with a late penalty in the 83rd minute, salvaging a 1-1 draw against Leganés at home.

🇪🇸 Athletic Club earned a comfortable 3-1 victory over Celta Vigo, led by Gorka Guruzeta’s early and decisive contributions. Alvaro Djalo, who came on in the 77th minute, added a third goal just minutes later to seal the win for Athletic.

🇪🇸 Both Villarreal and Barcelona entered the match unbeaten in La Liga, but it was Barcelona who maintained their perfect record with an emphatic 5-1 victory at the Estadio de la Cerámica. Robert Lewandowski was in fine form, scoring twice in the first half to give Barcelona an early advantage. Ayoze Pérez pulled one back for Villarreal, reducing the deficit to 2-1 before halftime. However, Barcelona dominated the second half, with Pablo Torre opening the scoring shortly after the break, followed by two goals from Raphinha to seal a comprehensive win. With this result, Barcelona continued their unbeaten run and kept their title ambitions firmly on track.

[🇮🇹 Serie A results]
Cagliari ( 0 ) – ( 2 ) Empoli
Hellas Verona ( 2 ) – ( 3 ) Torino
Venezia ( 2 ) – ( 0 ) Genoa
Juventus ( 0 ) – ( 0 ) Napoli
Lecce ( 2 ) – ( 2 ) Parma
Fiorentina ( 2 ) – ( 1 ) Lazio
Monza ( 1 ) – ( 2 ) Bologna
Roma ( 3 ) – ( 0 ) Udinese
Inter Milan ( 1 ) – ( 2 ) AC Milan
Atalanta ( 2 ) – ( 3 ) Como

🇮🇹 Cagliari’s search for their first league win continues after five rounds, with their latest setback coming in a 2-0 defeat to Empoli. The result also preserves Empoli’s unbeaten run in Serie A.

🇮🇹 Torino and Hellas Verona entered this clash neck-and-neck, separated by a mere two points. Both sides had mirrored their league form, each securing wins in half of their matches. However, where Hellas Verona had alternated between victory and defeat, Torino’s path was steadied by a combination of wins and draws. In this contest, Torino tipped the scales in their favor, maintaining their unbeaten streak and bolstering their win tally, while simultaneously dealing a blow to Verona’s balance with another defeat. The result stretched Torino’s lead to five points, underscoring their growing momentum in the league.

🇮🇹 It could’ve been 3-0 had Joel Pohjanpalo converted his penalty in the 58th minute to open the scoring. The first goal came five minutes later through Gianluca Busio, before Pohjanpalo finally found the net in the 85th minute to double Venezia’s lead. The result marked their first league win of the season, as they secured a 2-0 victory against Genoa.

🇮🇹 Juventus stands as the last team across Europe’s top seven leagues yet to concede a league goal this season, following a hard-fought 0-0 draw at home against Napoli. The result marks the Bianconeri’s third consecutive goalless draw in Serie A, after starting the campaign with a pair of commanding 3-0 victories over Como and Hellas Verona. While their defense remains impenetrable, Juventus’ attack has struggled to find the net in recent weeks.

🇮🇹 Both Lecce and Parma had a player sent off in the second half, leaving them with 10 men each. Despite holding a 2-goal lead, Lecce settled for a draw at home against Parma. The two teams share identical league records after five rounds, with Parma edging ahead on goal difference.

🇮🇹 Fiorentina secured their first win of the season with a dramatic 2-1 victory over Lazio, thanks to two second-half penalties. Albert Gudmundsson was the hero for the Viola, converting both spot-kicks to overturn a first-half deficit. His equalizer came in the 49th minute, and he kept his nerve again in the 90th minute to net the game-winner.

🇮🇹 In a clash of two winless teams, Monza and Bologna fought to a 1-1 stalemate in the first half, with Milan Djuric leveling the score after Kacper Urbanski had put Bologna ahead. The match remained tightly contested until the 80th minute, when Santiago Castro netted the decisive goal, securing Bologna’s first win of the Serie A season at Monza’s expense.

🇮🇹 After four rounds of the season, Udinese found themselves at the top of the Serie A standings, unbeaten with three wins, while Roma struggled just above the relegation zone with three draws and no victories. However, Roma turned their fortunes around in the fifth round, claiming their first league win of the season with a convincing 3-0 victory over Udinese, handing the visitors their first defeat. Artem Dovbyk opened the scoring in the 19th minute, setting the tone for the match. Paulo Dybala doubled the lead with a penalty in the 49th minute, and Tommaso Baldanzi, who had just entered the game in the 69th minute, sealed the win with a goal in the 70th.

🇮🇹 AC Milan celebrated back-to-back league victories after a challenging start to the Serie A season, where they failed to secure a win in their opening three matches. Following a dominant 4-0 win over recently promoted Venezia, Milan faced their city rivals and reigning champions, Inter Milan, in a highly anticipated derby that ended in a thrilling 2-1 triumph for the Rossoneri. Christian Pulisic opened the scoring with a stunning solo effort in the 10th minute, giving Milan an early lead. However, Federico Dimarco equalized for Inter in the 28th minute, setting the stage for a tense second half. It wasn’t until the 89th minute that Matteo Gabbia found the back of the net, clinching the win for Milan and handing Inter their first league defeat of the season. This victory not only boosted Milan’s confidence but also positioned them level on points with their rivals in the league standings.

🇮🇹 The game was postponed from the day before due to weather conditions, and despite going a goal down in the first half (18th minute), newly-promoted Como came from behind to secure their first win in Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Atalanta.
