Qatar 1-3 Senegal (Group A)
Netherlands 1-1 Ecuador (Group A)
England 0-0 United States (Group B)
Wales 0-2 Iran (Group B)

They found a goal this time around but Qatar followed the defeat to Ecuador with another against Senegal. A 3-1 defeat to Senegal eliminated Qatar and kept Senegal alive with their destiny in their hands in Group A.
Enner Valencia was once again the goalscorer for Ecuador as they came from a goal down to get a draw with the Netherlands.
England and United States shared the points in a goalless draw in Group B.
Iran scored two of the latest goals in the competitions to crack Wales. Rouzbeh Cheshmi’s goal on th 90+8′ and Ramin Sameskandi’s goal in 90+11′ downed a 10-man Wales to a 2-0 defeat.

Argentina 2-0 Mexico (Group C)
Poland 2-0 Saudi Arabia (Group C)
France 2-1 Denmark (Group D)
Tunisia 0-1 Australia (Group D)

After their shock defeat in the opening round, Argentina needed a win to control their destiny in Group C. A defeat would’ve eliminated them from the tournament, while a draw would’ve only placed them on ‘life support’. A 64th-minute wonder-strike from Lionel Messi saved the day for Argentina as they went on to win 2-0 against a Mexican side that were getting comfortable with the idea of picking up a point.
Saudi Arabia couldn’t repeat the magic of the first round. They fell 2-0 to Poland, with Robert Lewandowski getting the second goal for Poland in the 82nd minute to add to Piotr Zielinski’s match-winning goal in the 39th minute.
Kylian Mbappe scored to give France the lead in the 61st minute and scored another in the 86th minute to restore the lead after Andreas Christensen scored in the 68th minute to level the score. France advanced to the knockout stage from Group D. They became the first defending champion to advance to the knockout stage of the World Cup since Brazil did so in 2006.
Mitchell Duke scored the only goal of the match in the 23rd minute to get Australia a 1-0 win against Tunisia.

Croatia 4-1 Canada (Group F)

Niclas Fullkrug scored an 83rd-minute equalizing goal to deny Spain a win and most importantly save Germany from group-stage elimination in Group E.
Costa Rica with their first shot on goal got a shocking win against Japan. Keysher Fuller’s goal in the 81st minute saved Costa Rica from group-stage elimination in Group E.
Morocco made their mark with a 2-0 win against Belgium.
Croatia made their mark by coming from going a goal down in the second minute to finishing the match with a 4-1 win against Canada. The result eliminated Canada from the tournament.

Cameroon 3-3 Serbia (Group G)

South Korea 2-3 Ghana (Group H)

Casemiro’s goal in the 83rd minute secured a place in the ‘Round of 16’ for Brazil as they beat Switzerland 1-0.
Serbia came from a goal down to a two-goal advantage but in the end, it ended a 3-all draw between them and Cameroon.
Portugal booked their place in the ‘Round of 16’ after a 2-0 win against Uruguay. Bruno Fernandes scored both goals.
Despite allowing South Korea to get back on level terms, Ghana found the winning goal through Mohammed Kudus to stay alive in the competition with a 3-2 win.
