After Round 3 of the 2020/21 Champions League

MATCHDAY THREE – UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

The unbeaten teams after three rounds.
Bayern Munich
Manchester City
Liverpool
Barcelona

Bayern lead Group A unbeaten and 5 points clear off the rest. Atletico Madrid occupy 2nd place and 2 points clear of third place Lokomotiv Moscow. Salzburg are at the bottom with a point.

Who would have thought it would take three rounds for Real Madrid to pick up their first win in Group B, and take Inter Milan more. Real Madrid won their first game after beating Inter Milan.
The underdogs are currently occupying the top two spots in Group B; with Borussia Monchengladbach are the leaders.

Manchester City leads Group C.

Ajax got their first win to get into the contest of advancing in Group D.

Chelsea and Sevilla are leading in Group E with a 6 point gap on both Krasnodar and Rennes.

Borussia Dortmund are Group F leaders but the contest remains tight with Lazio and Club Brugge.
And Zenit isn’t out of it .

Barcelona are Group G leaders and are running clear with Juventus. The point Dynamo Kyiv and Ferencvaros have is what they shared when the two met.

Not many would have expected Paris St. Germain to not be at the top of Group H at the halfway mark.
Despite losing their match in this round, Manchester United are top of the table with equal points as RB Leipzig in Group H

Group A
Lokomotiv 1-1 Atlético
Atletico Madrid left Moscow with a point after Anton Miranchuk scored from the spot to cancel out the lead Jose Gimenez had given Atletico.

Group D
Midtjylland 1-2 Ajax
Three defeats in a row for Midtjylland.

Liverpool left Bergamo with a clean sheet, three points, and +5 goals.
Diogo Jota bagged a hat-trick as Liverpool made it three wins from three with a devastating display in Bergamo.

Group E
Chelsea 3-0 Rennes

Sevilla 3-2 Krasnodar
Sevilla came from a goal down to win at home against Krasnodar.
Sevilla’s captain Jesús Navas was red carded after denying a clear goal scoring opportunity.
