Granada remains the only team without a win after eleven rounds of the 2016/17 La Liga season. It is no surprise that the sit at the bottom of the league table. Osasuna has managed to get a win and Sporting Gijon has managed to get two. The two teams complete the teams that are occupying the relegation zone at this stage of the season.
How are the newly promoted teams doing?
Osasuna is the only newly-promoted side that is in the relegation at the moment, while Leganes is lingering around the relegation zone. Alaves is performing the best out of all the newly promoted sides.
Who might be in for a thrilling season?
Valencia started their season losing all of their first four matches. They bounced back with consecutive wins, but have since then remained inconsistent. The good news is that Valencia is out of the relegation zone, and they possess the talent to push upwards on the league table. But we can never be sure about the story Valencia would give us at the end of the season.
