PSG dominance.

After winning all the domestic competitions available to them, not a lot has changed for PSG in Ligue 1. The team from the French capital is going for their sixth title and their fourth French title in a row.

After 13th rounds of Ligue 1, Paris St. Germain sits 10 points away from the rest of Ligue 1. They remain undefeated, the most potent team in front of the goal, the team with the best defensive record, and the team with the highest goal scorer. Maybe the pressure of their first UEFA Champions League match and the hangover from their win in that match prevented them from winning their league games scheduled around the match. A 2-2 home draw to Bordeaux and a 1-1 away draw to Reims are the only blemish on their Ligue 1 season so far.

Newly promoted, Angers is doing wonders at the top flight. Sitting 4th on the table after 13 matches is something of which fan can be proud. They started of with 4 undefeated matches, lost their 5th match to Lorient, and then went ahead on another run of 6 undefeated run. But recent results have not been a positive sign. Their last 2 matches have resulted in a loss. Can they hold on and remain in the top half of the competition?

On the opposite end is Troyes. They are the only team yet to register a win It is no surprise that Troyes has the most defeats in the league. Troyes and Toulouse are the two teams with a single digit point after 13 rounds. They are both sitting in the relegation zone.  Lille has the most draws (7)

PSG has the most positive goal difference (+25) while bottom table Troyes have the most negative goal difference (-19). Caen and St. Etienne have managed to balance their goal difference to a zero while French powerhouse; Olympique Marseille sits 13th on the league table as the only team in the bottom half of the league table with a positive goal difference (+4).

Lyon continues to chase PSG. Maybe the only competition the giant club will have this season.
