The thirteenth round of the 2017/18 German Bundesliga brought about some shockers – Bayern Munich winning run came to an end when Borussia Monchengladbach defeated them to keep themselves in contention for the Bundesliga title.

It looked like the competitive part of the derby was over when Borussia Dortmund scored four goals in the first 25 minutes and took that lead into the break. It took Schalke 04 about 15 minutes after the restart to begin a comeback that was completed by Naldo’s injury-time headed goal.
RB Leipzig got a ‘2-0’ victory over Werder Bremen to move up to second place and take an advantage of the Revierderby result. FC Koln remains winless after suffering a defeat at home Hertha Berlin.
Despite being on the losing side and not scoring in this round, Robert Lewandowski(Bayern Munich) remains top scorer, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang(Borussia Dortmund) closes in with a goal to cut the gap between the sides down to 2.
