Paris St. Germain’s lead grew to 5 points after a ‘3-1’ win at Montpellier was matched with Lens defeat at home to Nice.
A ‘1-0’ defeat dropped Lens a position down to 3rd, while Marseille moved up a position to 2nd place with a ‘2-0’ win over Nantes.
Monaco and Rennes both picked up a win to make it 5 teams with 40 points or more in the league.

Ajaccio picked up their first win in five league matches, while Angers goes 13 league defeats in a row. The game-winning goal came for Ajaccio in the 4th minute of the final added minutes. Mounaim El Idrissy scored the winner to complete the comeback for Ajaccio to leave Angers with three points from a 2-1 victory.
After a defeat in the last round (against Nice), picking up a point from a goalless draw at home with Clermont Foot was the best Lille could do. Clermont Foot is now 5 league games without a defeat.
Marseille is now unbeaten in their last 9 league matches after getting back to winning ways with a 2-0 win at Nantes.
Reims avoided a home defeat to follow a draw in Paris with a win at home against Lorient. Folavin Balogun scored three goals to help Reims come from two goals down to secure the maximum points with a 4-2 win against Lorient.
A 4-1 win against Troyes was also Toulouse’s 5th straight league game without defeat. Toulouse has 4 wins in that run.
Gaetan Laborde’s goal in the 57th minute won Nice the match to hand Lens their second league defeat of the season.
Breel Embolo’s goal in the 82nd minute ended up being the game-winning goal for Monaco. They beat Auxerre 3-2.
Paris St. Germain got a 3-1 win at Montpellier to end a two-match win drought in the league.
Amine Gouiri scored two goals in the opening 21 minutes to help Renues to a 3-0 win against Strasbourg.
