It hasn’t been convincing but Liverpool picked up their second win in Group D from a 2-0 win against Midtjylland.

Sevilla takes three points at home from a narrow victory against Rennes.

A Cristiano-less Juventus side are beaten at home by Barcelona.

Dynamo Kyiv blew a 2-goal lead to settle for a point against Ferencvaros.

Four Manchester United goals were scored when Rashford stepped on the field. He went from being responsible for one historic win to another. Marcus Rashford entered the match with less than half an hour to play; but finished the game with a hat trick for Manchester United to trash RB Leipzig by 5 goals.

Neymar left the match injured but Moise Kean delivered the goals for Paris St. Germain to get their first win of the tournament.

Group A stands as expected; Bayern Munich leading and Atletico Madrid following. We can’t say the same for Group B as Real Madrid are at the bottom of the standings, and Inter Milan are not doing anything special. The Group is led at the moment by Shakhtar Donetsk.

Real Madrid are currently the only side among the elite teams that is sitting in a rank that many won’t have predicted. They are also the only Spanish La Liga team that haven’t had a win.

Barcelona are the only La Liga side to win both of their opening matches. They were joined by Sevilla and Atletico Madrid who found their opening win.

Despite defeat, Juventus sit second in Group G.
Dynamo Kyiv couldn’t hold on to their 2-goal lead against Ferencvaros. It would have allowed them to take advantage of the Juventus vs Barcelona fixture.

Marseille are without a point in Group C. Manchester City leads the group with a

Chelsea became the last English Premier League side to win. They joined Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United, who have all made it 2 wins out of 2.

Manchester United lead Group H after putting aside the two teams that were supposed to be their toughest competition in the group.

Lazio and Club Brugge lead Group F after sharing the points.
