Everton and Arsenal picked a point from a goalless draw. Possibly the only result that will work for both teams at this moment.

Southampton went to Villa Park and picked up a win to cut their losing streak to two matches.

Jay Rodriguez scored late in the 89th-minute to steal a ‘1-0’ win on the road for Burnley.
Burnley beat Bournemouth to seal a consecutive league defeat (by the same score margin) after three matches in defeat.
The result also meant Burnley has now lost 6 of their last 7 league matches; with their only win coming surprisingly at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.

Sheffield United made it 3 wins on the bounce since the defeat to Newcastle after getting a ‘1-0’ away win against Brighton.

Miguel Almiron’s first goal for Newcastle was the winning goal for his side against Crystal Palace.
Newcastle bounced back from defeat to Burnley as they handed Crystal Palace their first defeat since their defeat to Liverpool (November 23).

Wolves clawed back from a goal down with two goals in the second-half to win on the road against Norwich City.

Manchester City pulled a point away from Leicester in the league standings after a ‘3-1’ victory at the Etihad Stadium.
Jamie Vardy opened the scoring for Leicester City to pick up his 17th league goal but it wasn’t enough for Leicester to bounce back from their draw with Norwich City from the previous round.

Watford picked up their second league victory of the season after getting 2 goals in the second half against Manchester United.
Manchester United’s current form/record makes them the ‘Robin Hood’ of the league. They take points from the big teams and drop them over to the smaller ones.

Frank Lampard gets a win over Jose Mourinho. Apprentice defeat Master.
Chelsea went to Tottenham and picked up a ‘2-0’ win through two first-half goals from Willian.
It was an opportunity for Tottenham to close the point gap between themselves and Chelsea, but Frank Lampard’s boys took advantage of the opportunity and widened the gap between the two London clubs in the league standings.
