The three teams at the top of the standings remain unbeaten; with Manchester City and Liverpool separated by goal-difference.

Glenn Murray scored the only goal of the match to make Brighton & Hove Albion be victorious at home against Wolverhampton Wanderers to cut the gap in points between the two to 1. The result made it three ‘1-0’ wins for Brighton in the league. It’s back-to-back defeat for Wolverhampton after a decent run of picking points in the league.

AFC Bournemouth goes to London and keeps Fulham in the relegation zone after scoring 3 and conceding none. Four unbeaten matches in the league for Bournemouth as they make moves towards the top end of the league standings.

Liverpool extended their unbeaten run after a great second-half showing against Cardiff City saw them win comfortably.

Watford stayed on the winning path by beating bottom-table Huddersfield Town.

A 10-man West Ham United allowed in a late goal against Leicester City for both teams to bounce from recent defeats to take a point.

Ross Barkley was instrumental in Chelsea’s 4-0 win away against Burnley. Chelsea remains unbeaten and with 7 wins in their opening 10 league matches. Not many would’ve expected any more from Burnley when they Manchester City and Chelsea in succession. The gap in quality between the Burnley and the two giants is evident after conceding 9 goals and scoring none.

Crystal Palace ended their 3-match losing streak while ending Arsenal’s 11-match winning streak.
Before Luka Milivojevic scored from the spot to score a brace and give Crystal Palace a point at home, Granit Xhaka scored from a freekick to get Arsenal on level terms before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave Arsenal a lead that was looking to extend their winning streak in all competitions to 12 games.

A ‘Romelu Lukaku’-less Manchester United beats Everton at Old Trafford to leap over them in the league standings.

And in the final match of the round, Manchester City retained their place at the top of the league table by beating Tottenham at Wembley. Riyad Mahrez scored the only goal of the match to give Manchester City all three points.
