Augsburg made it three consecutive league defeats after getting thrashed ‘5-1’ at Freiburg.

Mainz ended a run of three defeats in the league with a ‘3-0’ victory against a Schalke side that was hoping to crawl further away from the relegation-threat in the league standings.

Dortmund survived a tense final quarter of the match to get back to winning ways through a 3-2 home victory over Bayer Leverkusen. After Jonathan Tah scored in the 75th minute cut Dortmund lead down to a goal.
