Bayern Munich was the only team in the top four to pick up a win over this round.
The gap at the top of the Bundesliga is 5 points clear at the top of the standings after throwing away a very healthy lead against Hertha Berlin to keep the lead at 7 points.

Bayer Leverkusen opened the round with a ‘bang’ – 5 goals at Mainz to pick up their 3rd league win in a row. Julian Brandt played a role in 4 goals; scoring two and assisting two.

Hoffenheim scored three in the final quarter of the regulation time to come from three goals down and get a point against league leaders Borussia Dortmund. We are not sure how much of a role this result will play at the end of the title race.

A stalemate between Leipzig and Frankfurt. It is now 3 consecutive draws for Eintracht Frankfurt, but Luka Jovic remains top scorer.

Bayern Munich bounced back from their defeat to Leverkusen in the last round to beats Schalke for the 3 points. Bayern became the only side in the ‘top four’ to secure a win this round. Robert Lewandowski scored his 100th goal at the Allianz Arena and is a goal away from being joint top scorer with Eintracht Frankfurt’s Luka Jovic
