Eintracht Frankfurt kicked-off the round with an away victory against a struggling Stuttgart.

Bayern Munich dropped massive points at home to Freiburg.
A ‘1-1’ draw left Bayern Munich 4 points from the top of the league after Borussia Dortmund sealed a victory at Wolfsburg. With DerKlasiker up next, Bayern missed out on an opportunity to keep the gap in points between the two teams at 2 points.
Next round would be interesting if Bayern can win at Dortmund and blow the title race in the Bundesliga wide open to get the surrounding teams involved.

3 wins in a row for Hoffenheim after getting a 4-1 away victory against Bayer Leverkusen.

Borussia Monchengladbach climbed to 2nd in the league standings after doing the expected and securing the maximum points at home against recently-promoted Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Mainz 05 wins their first league match in 7 games in a ‘2-1’ victory against a Werder Bremen side that could have used a victory to get into the ‘top-four’ position the league. Schalke 04 moved further away from the relegation zone after a 3-1 victory against fellow relegation-threatened Hannover 96. Timo Werner starred as RB Leipzig scored three and opened a 3-point gap between themselves and Hertha Berlin. Lukas Muhl scored late to rescue a point for Nurnberg at Augsburg.
