No points left behind
Paris St. Germain is 15 points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table after 14 matches played. 14 wins no defeats and a perfect 42/42 points.

Without the services of Neymar and Mbappe, Paris St. Germain strengthened their grip on the league title with Edinson Cavani providing the goal of the match against Toulouse. It was the first time in the league that PSG had been held to scoring just a single goal in a Ligue 1 match.

Lyon kicked the round off with a victory against Saint-Etienne. It was a victory that allowed Lyon to end the round in 2nd place after Lille lost grip on their place in the league standings following a defeat to Nice.

It was a ‘huge’ moment in Thierry Henry’s managerial career as a ‘1-0’ Monaco win over Caen handed him his first managerial victory and saw his Monaco side to their first victory since the opening day of the Ligue 1 season. Radamel Falcao’s goal was enough to stop a falling AS Monaco from extending their winless streak to 18 matches.

Guingamp remained at the bottom of the league standings after a third straight defeat.
Nantes dropped another set of points in the league despite getting a late equalizing goal to avoid defeat at home to Angers.

Nimes beats Strasbourg to move a point away in the standings. Putting an end to Strasbourg’s unbeaten streak in their most recent 6 matches in the league.

Florian Thauvin scored three to bring Marseille from a goal down to win by two against Amiens.
