Neymar and Mbappe continue their goalscoring in Ligue 1 to lead Paris St. Germain to their 12th win of the season. 100% start to their season and a record-making win over a Lille team that came to the fixture as the second best team in the league.
It took 70 minutes of game time for Paris St. Germain to find the break-through to get the winning goal. Neymar assisted Kylian Mbappe for the opening goal of the match to give Paris St.Germain the deserved lead. Mbappe returned the favor later with and Neymar assured the team of a victory with a second goal. 11 points clear at the top of the league.

The results around the league won’t have changed Lyon’s position in the standings even if they had managed to hold on to their lead against Bordeaux to get a victory at home. Lyon missed out on the opportunity to close in on the top-three in the standings when Andreas Cornelius scored for Bordeaux in the second-half to deny Lyon a home victory.

Rennes left Caen with three points after two goals in the second half. Caen is left at the tip of the relegation zone after making it 4 winless matches that consist of three defeats.

Recently-promoted Nimes tore apart Dijon after a couple of goals in each half to end a streak of 9 straight matches without a win.

Nice protected their first-half lead from an ‘owngoal’ to beat Amiens and make it a consecutive victory in the league.

Recently promoted Reims extended Monaco’s winless run. Reims took a ‘1-0’ win at home.
Despite having to protect the ‘1-0’ lead with 10-men for about 20 minutes after Alaixy Romao was red-carded off in the 50th minute, Reims was able to extend Monaco’s winless run to 14 competitive matches (11 league matches)

Against the run of play but Toulouse gets a point at Strasbourg.
Nantes turned on the style against Guingamp in a 5-0 trashing that helped fasten Guingamp to the bottom of the league table.

Saint-Etienne stayed close to the current top-four in the league when they took the maximum points at home after finish a 7-goal thrilling match on the right end of a ‘4-3’ score against Angers

Marseille suffers back-to-back defeat to top-four teams in the league while failing to register a goal.
Montpellier established their place in the top end of the table after handing Marseille a ‘3-0’ defeat to close the round. Gaetan Laborde brace and Paul Bastien Lasne goal gave Marseille the win to climb to second in the standings while pushing Marseille further away from top-4.
