Manchester City gets comfortable at the top of the league with as many goals scored as points accumulated in 9 league matches. Five different players contributed the goals in a 5-0 pounding of Burnley.

Manchester United goals to Stamford Bridge and gets a point. United dropped 2 points deep in extra time when Chelsea’s second-half substitute Ross Barkley scored late to keep his side unbeaten. On the balance of play, it was a deserved point for both sides.

Mohamed Salah get the only goal of the match to see that Liverpool win away at Huddersfield and keep up with Manchester City at the top of the table.
Newcastle United extended their winless run in the league after a home defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion. It back to back win for Brighton after back to back defeats that were on the end of back to back draws.

Watford climbed above Wolverhampton Wanders in the standings after getting two goals a minute apart to secure an away win that also denied Wolverhampton from making it a hattrick of league victories.

Erik Lamela’s goal keeps Tottenham in the top four.

Fulham was first to take the lead against Cardiff City when the newly promoted sides met but found themselves at the wrong end of a ‘4-2’ score at the end. It is three defeats in a row for Fulham, while Cardiff put an end to 5 consecutive league defeats and gets their first win to leave Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United in the winless group.

Everton leave is late to punish Crystal Palace and Luka Milivojevic for missing a penalty opportunity early in the second half. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun were on the scoresheet just about a minute apart to give Everton a 2 goal lead with just about a minute of regulation time left to play. Three wins a row for Everton as Crystal Palace sinks with 3 defeats in a row.


Arsenal made it 10 wins in a row (in all competitions) when Pierre Emerick Aubameyang became the game changer just minutes after coming off the bench in the second half. Aubameyang scored less than 2 minutes after coming on to the pitch to give Arsenal the lead and went on to double the lead 5 minutes later.
