Wolverhampton and Leicester opened the round with a thrilling 7-goal match that ended with Wolverhampton finding a way to get on the right end of a ‘4-3’ score in the final minute of added time. Diogo Jota contributed 3 goals to his sides home victory, but his final/match-winning goal is going to be the memorable one. It was looking like a comfortable home win for Wolverhampton when they took a 2-0 lead into the break. Leicester City sparked the interest of the neutral fans when the fought their way back into the match with goals in the opening 6 minutes of the second half. Wes Morgan’s equalizing goal for Leicester City in the 87th minute looked to have sealed an away point for his side after Diogo Jota restored Wolverhampton’s lead in the second half.

West Ham went from beating Arsenal to a defeat against Bournemouth. A ‘2-0’ victory for
Bournemouth allowed them to creep up to a point away from equalling the points tally of West Ham.

Mohamed Salah scored two goals to help Liverpool come from a goal down to win and keep the 4 point gap they have at the top of the league standings; however, Sadio Mane’s injury-time goal ended up being the difference between Liverpool and Crystal Palace. James Milner was sent off in the final minute of regulation time for accumulating yellow cards.

Manchester United continues to ride the wave of victories that seems to be coming from their new management. Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford got the goals for Manchester United to close in on a Champions League qualification spot in the league. Its 6 consecutive league victories for Manchester United.

Fabian Schar scored the opening 2 goals in Newcastle United’s 3-0 victory against Cardiff City. The result meant Cardiff replaced Newcastle in the relegation zone.

Southampton beats Everton. Lucas Digne’s own goal gifted Southampton three points to move away from the relegation zone.

It was a goalless draw in an evenly contested match between Watford and Burnley.

London is Red!. Goals in the first half allowed Arsenal to comfortably see off Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal victory cut in half Chelsea’s lead and reignited the race for ‘top four’ in the league.

Manchester City did the expected and by beating bottom table Huddersfield Town.

Fernando Llorente scored an own goal to put his Tottenham side under pressure for the majority of the first half. Without the services of Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, Tottenham had to dig deep to find a win against Fulham.
