The gap between the top 5 and the rest of the league is 8 points, the same amount of point gap between #1 and #5. Manchester City isn’t missing any steps on their way to defend the league title. Arsenal is excelling under new management, Liverpool remains Manchester City’s biggest threat, while both Chelsea and Tottenham are doing their part to make it difficult for the remaining teams in the league to get closer to the top end of the league standings.

Three wins in the league for Cardiff have all coming in home matches. Cardiff comes from a goal down in the first half to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Crystal Palace went consecutive games without defeat by taking all 3 points at home against a Burnley side that has now made it 5 defeats in a winless run of 7 league matches.

After getting the perfect start to the game and taking a lead before a minute of the game had been played, a 10-man Huddersfield Town found themselves at end of the match on the wrong end of a ‘2-1’ scoreline as Brighton takes away a deserved victory and three points.

Two goals in the first half decided the match as Leicester City 5 straight league matches without defeat with a win over a Watford team that is currently without a win from their last four matches after having an impressive start to their season.

Raheem scored his 8th goal of the season as Manchester City remain unbeaten and keep their place at the top of the league after a ‘3-1’ victory against Bournemouth.

West Ham United picked up three points at the St. James Park through 3 goals against Newcastle United.

Manchester United avoided a humiliating defeat to settle for a point at the St. Mary’s Stadium after coming from two goals down against Southampton.

The home teams didn’t disappoint in the local derbies. Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool came out on top after facing their local rivals.

Chelsea’s form and their position in the standings made them clear favorites against newly-promoted Fulham. I took an early goal and a goal in the final 10 minutes for Chelsea to secure a win after breaking their unbeaten run in the last round to Tottenham Hotspur.

Divock Origi came in the game in the 84th minute to score the only goal of the match for Liverpool to win in the Merseyside derby. Liverpool kept the gap between themselves and the league leaders intact by beating Everton.

After going into the break a goal down, Arsenal did all the scoring in the second half to paint North London ‘Red’.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang moved to the top of the goalscorers list after he scored a brace which included the winning goal for Arsenal to move to 4th in the league after picking up the three points at home from a ‘4-2’ win against Tottenham.
