Despite playing a goalless draw at home to FK Crvena Zvezda, Arsenal got a point to move into the knockout stage of the competition. Dynamo Kyiv also defeated Young Boys in Group B to move to the knockout stage as well. Steaua Bucharest is also in the knockout stage from Group G, Lazio from Group K and Zenit Saint-Petersburg from Group L.
Everton and FK Vardar Skopje were both eliminated from the competition after coming at the wrong end of a ‘3-0’ score. Everton defeat was handed to them by Lyon, while Vardar received theirs from Real Sociedad.
