Real Madrid failed to get a victory in their first home game of the season against Valencia. Karim Benzema failed to capitalize on a clear opportunity to win it late for Real Madrid. Geoffrey Kondogbia scored in his debut match for Valencia. His goal was important to see Valencia leave the Estadio Bernabeu with a point against mighty Real Madrid.
