2017/18 Italian Serie A season kicked off with an expected Juventus victory at the Juventus Stadium. A ‘3-0’ victory over Cagliari was how Juventus started their title defense season. The Argentine offensive threats got a goal in this fixture. The new #10; Paulo Dybala and No.9; Gonzalo Higuain both got on the score sheet for Juventus in this victory.

It was a comfortable away victory for Napoli against newly promoted Hellas Verona. A late red card and a penalty award to Hellas Verona allowed the home side to deny Napoli a clean sheet.

Milan is on top of the league! Both Milan teams came out of the first Round of the 2017/18 Serie A season with a 3-0 victory. AC Milan did the job away at Crotone, while Inter Milan secured a home victory over Fiorentina.

After getting a goalless draw away at Lazio, SPAL 2013 became the only newly promoted side to avoid a first-round defeat.

Will Juventus march on to another league title? Will this be a year that the Scudetto ends up in Milan or Rome?
