2017/18 Spanish La Liga – Round 16 – Valencia slips again and Barcelona goes into El Clasico on a winning streak

Real Madrid had to postpone their match against Leganes to go and win the 2018 FIFA Club World Cup.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid remain undefeated and top two sides in the league after picking up victories in the 16th round of the 2017/18 Spanish La Liga. Eibar defeated Valencia to drag them 8 points away from the top of the league.

Las Palmas missed a penalty that would have completed a late comeback with a victory over Espanyol
