2017/18 Spanish La Liga – Round 13 – Valencia and Barcelona remain undefeated after sharing the points

Barcelona, Valencia, and Atletico Madrid remain unbeaten.

Valencia and Barcelona played out a ‘1-1’ draw to help the top three sides in the league standings maintain an undefeated start to the season after 13 rounds. Barcelona’s Lionel Messi was unlucky to have his first-half goal against Valencia get denied by the officials. It would have been a goal that would’ve allowed Messi to open up his lead at the top of the goalscoring list in the league.

Kevin Gameiro and Antoine Griezmann both contributed a brace each to guide third-placed Atletico Madrid unleashed a thrashing on newly-promoted Levante to pick up an away victory that allowed them to close in on the top two teams in the league. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the winner for Real Madrid against relegation-zoned Malaga, while Real Betis and Girona gave a fantastic end to their match when both teams scored a goal a minute apart in the injury-time to end the match as a ‘2-2’ draw.
