French Ligue1

2017/18 French Ligue 1 – Round 31 – Monaco drops points to allow PSG to gain extra points in their lead.

Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco had to play their matches outside the March 31-April 1 weekend fixtures because of the involvement in French League Cup final. Paris Saint-Germain were ‘2-1’ winners when they faced Angers on March 14, 2018, while Monaco played out a ‘1-1’ draw on April 4, 2018, against Rennes.

Marseille and Lyon both had a successful round and claimed 3 points to stay in the top 4 to keep their positions in the top four of the league standings.

With 21 points left in the season and Paris Saint-Germain being 16-points clear at the top, it is virtually impossible to see any other outcome but a PSG title-winning season.
