Open slots for relegation
Since none of the teams in the bottom three suffered a defeat in this round, half of the Premier League table remains under the threat of relegation.
Stoke City held Liverpool to a goalless draw at Anfield. Southampton wins their first match in 8 league games after beating Bournemouth, and West Bromwich hung on to their slim chance to avoid the drop when they held on to beat Newcastle United at St.James Park.

Old Trafford gave Arsene Wenger a warm welcome, but Arsenal FC couldn’t succeed on the pitch.
Arsene Wenger’s final visit to Old Trafford ended in a ‘2-1’ defeat when Marouane Fellaini scored a late winner for Manchester United.

An early goal gave Chelsea an away victory against Swansea City, but Chelsea remains 5 points away from the ‘top four’ after Tottenham win against Watford. With Liverpool’s failure to beat Stoke City, an opportunity to climb to 3rd place has been opened for Tottenham if they can get a victory from the game they have in hand.
