2017/18 English Premier League – Round 25 – Manchester City wraps up season as Manchester United falls at Wembley

Today marked the end of the mid-season transfer and the 25th round of this year Premier League.
Manchester City is wrapping up the season.
It is a tight battle on the bottom end of the league standings. West Bromwich Albion sits at the bottom of the table after an expected defeat to top table Manchester City. The result restored Manchester City’s 15-point gap at the top of the table after Tottenham Hotspur handed Manchester United their 3rd away defeat of the season.

Both Alexis Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan suffered a league defeat on their debut for their new clubs.

Liverpool got back to winning ways through an away victory over Huddersfield Town. The ‘3-0’ victory and Chelsea’s falling by the same score to AFC Bournemouth, sent Liverpool to third place.

Theo Walcott scored two goals to give Everton their first victory in 7 league matches. Swansea City defeated Arsenal to make it two successive league matches on the right side of the score.

Despite not being on the score sheet for Tottenham Hotspur, Harry Kane’s 21 goals keeps him top of the scoring list.
