With Manchester United dropping points at home to Burnley, Manchester City’s ‘1-0’ victory at Newcastle was all they need to open a 15 point lead at the top of the league table. Even though there is about half of the season left to be played, it is difficult to see a team that has gone 20 games undefeated in the league, suffer 5 defeats in the next 18 games left in the season. It is highly improbable that Manchester City will not lift the trophy at the end of the season.
Mohamed Salah was not on the score sheet, but Liverpool were big winners in Round 20 after thrashing bottom table Swansea City.
Watford ended a 4-match losing streak and a 6-match winless streak when they came from a goal down to beat Leicester City. AFC Bournemouth and West Ham United entertained us after sharing 6 goals evenly.
